• Account & Authentication Information: Basic profile identifiers (such as your email address and authentication credentials) used solely to maintain your user account and workspace state.
• Receipt Images & Media: Photos, snapshots, or digital document uploads (PDFs/JPGs) submitted for automated parsing. Receipt images are kept only in your private, access-controlled receipt vault tied to your account and viewable exclusively by you, and are used to review and deliver your receipts to your designated destinations. We do not publicly host, share, or sell your receipt images.
• Extracted Transaction Fields: Structured data elements parsed from receipt photos via our centralized AI vision pipeline — including vendor name, date, line items, currency totals, and itemized sales tax/VAT — alongside any memory-jogger notes you input.
• Integration Credentials & Scoped Tokens: Secure OAuth authorization tokens permitting data delivery to your connected QuickBooks Online and Google Drive accounts. We never receive, process, or store your raw Intuit or Google login passwords.

• Fully Managed AI Architecture: Split Ledger does not use legacy optical character recognition (OCR) engines, third-party OCR scanning libraries, or local text-scraping software. All receipt interpretation is executed entirely through secure, modern artificial intelligence models running multimodal vision analysis.
• Server-Managed AI Endpoints: You are never required to supply, manage, paste, or pay for an external API key inside the app experience. AI credentials used by Split Ledger live exclusively on Split Ledger's servers — never in your browser — and Split Ledger maintains, secures, and funds the underlying AI infrastructure directly.
• No Foundational Training on Your Data: Images and metadata submitted to our AI processing pipeline are processed transiently to extract transaction fields and are never used to train, retrain, or improve public, commercial, or foundational artificial intelligence models.

• Private Receipt Vault: When you upload or capture a receipt photo, Split Ledger temporarily holds the image only as long as necessary to complete the AI vision analysis. The image is then stored in your private, per-account receipt vault — accessible only to you — until it is delivered to your designated destination.
• Direct Hand-Off to Your Storage: Once your receipt is categorized and approved, Split Ledger delivers the image file directly to your selected third-party storage provider:

• QuickBooks Online: Attached directly to the corresponding expense or transaction record in your company ledger.
• Google Drive: Saved directly to your designated folder hierarchy (/Receipts/{Entity_Name}/{Year}/) using scoped, app-specific file permissions (drive.file).

Split Ledger connects programmatically with trusted external platforms to deliver its services:

• Intuit QuickBooks Online: Delivers accounting entries, memos, and attached image files to your verified QuickBooks books via encrypted Intuit OAuth 2.0 endpoints.
• Google Drive: Delivers receipt archives directly into user-owned cloud drives.
• Managed AI Infrastructure Providers: Process receipt images via secure, enterprise-tier cloud APIs operating under strict confidentiality and zero-model-training commercial terms.

• User Verification & On-the-Fly Editing: You retain real-time authority over all extracted fields. All AI-parsed figures (vendor, date, total amount, and taxes) are presented in an editable review interface before any entry is committed to your external accounts.
• Instant Export: You may export your processed log history, including mathematical entity allocations and split breakdowns, directly to standard RFC 4180 CSV files at any time.
• Account Deletion: You may request complete deletion of your Split Ledger account, authentication tokens, and user configuration settings by contacting our support desk. Deleting your Split Ledger account does not alter records already pushed to your QuickBooks Online or Google Drive accounts.
